DETOX Benefits:
Pumpkin seeds - Pumpkins contain zinc which is a mineral that builds up the
intestinal lining, making it harder for parasites to invade your body. Red
cabbage has a high level of polyphenols the same complex antioxidants found in
red wine, blueberries and green tea linked to the prevention of cardiovascular
disease and cancer.
Cabbage is a great cleanser as well thanks to its
glucosinolate content which produces anti-inflammatory and cell-detoxifying
compounds. Cabbage juice is an age-old remedy for stomach ulcers, and recent
research is suggesting a sure link between cabbage and healthy digestion. It is
an excellent source of fiber (super important for cleansing), Vitamin C
(immunity), and Vitamin A. Sulforaphane,
in Cruciferous veggies is already known to trigger the liver to produce enzymes
that detoxify cancer-causing chemicals.
