Vegan Egg Replacers



Why do they add eggs to baking?
1-To use as a binder
2- rising
3- moisture
.......................or all three.

Use any of the following to take place of 1 egg:
  • 1 teaspoon non- aluminum baking powder (or baking soda) + 1 tsp vinegar
This mixture creates a light a fluffy cake, which is a must for any baked good. However, it also helps the cake to rise because of the fizzy combination. To replace one egg, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with one tablespoon of baking soda.
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed + 3 tablespoons filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon ground chia seed + 3 tablespoons filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon psyllium husk + 3 tablespoons filtered water
  • 1/4 cup mashed banana (very ripe)
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup pureed prunes
  • 1/4 cup sweet potato puree
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup tofu, blended soft
  • 1/4 cup non-dairy yogurt
